Self Reflection

My name is Teo Yee Heng though i prefer to be called by my english name - Andrew. I'm 21 this year (thinking of it makes me think how time flies). Having a need to introduce myself I was forced asked myself what i really like or dislike. Through this i have discovered a very interesting fact - I HAVE NO IDEA OF WHAT I LIKED OR DISLIKE!! Thus, in the past week i've been going through a period of self reflection in search of my preferences and distaste.

I finally came to a conclusion in which i must have, because of the time frame of this assignment (each member have to post their introduction by the end of week 2 making this the second last day of the week). I found that i have a passion in reading. Not reading Newspaper of cause but Manga (Japanese Comic) and story books that pushes my brain to think such as books by Dan Brown. Besides reading, i notice that i play wayyyyyyyyy too much game. I play almost any kind of game strategy, action, simulation any game u name it and most probably i've either played it or heard of it at the very least. Cunrrently i'm playing Left 4 Dead and Dawn of War both which i find very facinating and addictive.

I don't read much of the newspaper but i do read news online. This has been a habit drilled into me by my parents.

"Heng have you read today's newspaper? How are you going to answer the questions the interviewers would ask when you go for your scholarship interview?" (well despite that, i didn't earn any scholarship... Sobs)

Well this was what made me uncomfortable without updating myself about the world.

Anyway my hobbies and life requirements frequently lead me to this few websites. The top of the website list is http://www.onemanga.com/. This is where i quench my thirst for manga. It's very good as it is frequently updated and has a very wide variety of manga. http://www.crunchyroll.com/ is the site i visit to watch anime (japanese cartoon: usually bout the manga i've read). I also frequent http://www.gamespot.com/ to get reviews of games that i've heard or is planing to play. www. gamefaqs.com it where i find the tips to play my games more effectively and most of the times ways to kill enemies and boss that made me reset or load the game like 25 times. At the bottom of my top 5 websites is http://www.cnn.com/ where i get the breaking news.

So what do i do online? Most obviously read manga. After my manga session i'd surf the net to look for promising games then look at the walkthroughs (guide and tips to play the game). After that i usually watch some anime online or funny clips found in crunchyroll and finally before bedtime i'll check out what's new on CNN.
